Bloom celebrates 10 years and the opening of their Innovation Hub
The newly refurbished state of the art innovation hub has been made possible through support from the Malka Foundation and St Catherine’s College and a grant from Lotterywest. At the event to celebrate the opening of the new centre, the Malka Foundation also announced its ongoing commitment to Bloom through a 5 year funding agreement.
Since its inception a decade ago, Bloom has been instrumental in equipping thousands of school-aged and young tertiary students in Western Australia with essential future skills, fostering a vital connection between them, their educators, and the innovation ecosystem.
The 10 year anniversary represented a significant milestone for Bloom, celebrating Bloom’s efforts in teaching entrepreneurial skills and supporting young entrepreneurs in the early stages of their ventures.
Bloom provides aspiring innovators with the resources, connections, and environment they need to turn their ideas into successful ventures. Offering world class programs, networking events and coworking spaces , Bloom fosters creativity and collaboration, helping young people grow their entrepreneurial skills and impact.
When the Malka Foundation was established almost 5 years ago, our goal was, and still is, to contribute to the growth and diversification of the WA by supporting the development of young entrepreneurs. Knowing the reputation of Bloom, it was only natural that we would approach Bloom and invite them to submit a proposal for the expansion of their programs.
We have been impressed by the results the leadership of Bloom have achieved in that time and are pleased to be able to make a further 5 commitment to continue their work, especially their outreach to schools in the metropolitan and regional area. We hope this will help many young people to follow their dreams and ambitions into the field of entrepreneurship.
